Early 19th century unusual shape original painted splint basket

It’s hard to find original painted baskets. Yet look close this basket is all original never had a handle and rectangle in size and shape. Measures 12 long by 6 inch wide by 4 inches tall. All original and just a very few minor breaks from age. Nothing major . Early to mid 19th century all original New York State splint basket in black paint.
