Early 18th century maple Burl covered spice container pole lathe turned

Super early pre-1750 period American maple Burl pole lathe turned spice container. This piece has outstanding original dark patina. Just a mellow deep dark wonderful color to the maple wood. You can see the age and finish markings on this piece. Measures 5 inches tall by 2 inches in diameter. This is really a rare survivor with this maple Burl wood and surface . All original no cracks repairs or damage.
