Early 18th century 1700 period lollipop top pine pencil box

Outstanding hand carved out bottom with original paper lining from 1700’s with f for S  and  carved lollipop top . Note original lead pencil inside as well. Measures 9 1/2 inches by 1 5/8 wide. Slide lid mortised into top and locks in place. Early 18th century piece.
