18th early 19th century heart design herb/ food chopper super nice turned handle

A wonderful example of an early American food / herb chopper. Measures 8 inches and is in great condition. Hand forged blade has an original cut out heart design. The tang goes through the handle as well. Good early piece for the kitchen primitives collection.
