18th C Miniature Painted Boot Jack End Blanket Box
Well.... as collectors know, the size and color is most important on an 18th century miniature. This has everything going for it...original early cut T head nails with original boot Jack cut out base. This piece is as pure as they come. This miniature blanket box is perfect with original hings. The small bits on back have been moved over but not changed. Measures 15 3/4 by 8 1/4 tall by 6 inches wide. All original salmon red paint of the period. Dating 1780 and just the best 18th century dry surface. This is just a super rare example coming out of our own collection. Has a New England look with those half moon cut out feet. Also the back is unpainted as was originally.
